I am an Assistant Professor of Astrophysics in the Department of Chemistry and Physics at Florida Gulf Coast University.
Previously, I was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the California Institute of Technology and a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Physics and Astronomy department at Johns Hopkins University.
I study how galaxies and supermassive black holes evolve over cosmic time using advanced ground and space-based telescopes. I graduated from the University of Toronto in 2012 with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree, studying Physics & Astronomy. I earned my Master of Science degree in 2015 and moved to UC San Diego, where I completed my Ph.D. in 2019, working in the Optical and InfraRed Laboratory with Professor Shelley Wright .
